“ We had a delicious vegan lunch! My 9 year old niece is dairy free so we were so happy to find this spot in Trequanda! She loved all of the vegan gelato and dessert options and the rest of us loved all of the tasty savory dishes! Even my meat-loving brother-in-law was shocked by how good the pasta with soy ragu was. We had: gazpacho, the bruschetta platter, red turnip hummus with fried plantains, and the vegetariana pizza. Everything was fresh, full of flavor and hearty without being too heavy (it was so nice to get veggies after days of meat and pasta). Some of the best gazpacho we've had and the hummus and fried plantains blew us away! The owner is very kind and helpful, providing us with menus in English and explained a few dishes for us. It's a big spot with lots of indoor and outdoor seating so it was great for our large group. ”
“ Wonderful place, super-friendly and kind waitresses, super good food. We've had the bruschette, parmiggiana (not the pizza), folded pizza mosca, the tiramisu and crepes with amazing icecream for dessert. Everything was great. Strongly recommended weather you're vegan or not. ”
“ Such a great family run & local restaurant with a perfect large summer terrace and spacious indoor dinning room during the winter. While they have vegan options, it’s not a vegan only restaurant by any means. The kind of place you come back to many times on a visit in the area because it’s yummy simple and affordable. Can be as fast or as leisurely as you wish. Also great with kids because they open at 630 (early by Italian standards!) try once & I’ll bet you’ll be back. ”
“ 100% vegan up to the delicious deserts Worth the de-tour Nice people, lovely setting ”
“ As one previous reviewed said - it an average place for pizzas. Nothing special, nothing to complain about. Hence the 3 stars. If you want a great tasting pizza - go to Pizzeria La Saporita - Ristorante Pizzeria Sinalunga. It's worth your trip. ”
“ I loved the pizza here! There are good vegan options and I opted for the potato and artichoke - no regrets with my choice it was delicious! I also find while on holiday I can eat too much bread, so although I’m not celiac I do order gluten free base and it was every bit as good. The table beside us were 4 vegans and they said they had ate there the evening before and came back for the vegan burger, so it must have been good. Highly recommend to vegans! ”
“ This restaurant was just down the road from where we stayed in Trequanda. The staff are lovely, with two waitresses and a very busy kitchen. They were extremely kind and the food was delicious. Definitely give the Vulcano a try! We went to this location twice, once to dine in (seating both inside and outside). They were busy both nights we went. It would be wise to make a reservation for a table before hand. ”
“ We came here as we saw reviews saying it was great for vegan options - and it was! First time I’ve seen a vegan section of a menu in Italy - and we were even able to have a beyond meat burger and chips. Super friendly family run business that seemed to be a hit with the locals too. Definitely recommend - the pizza dough was fantastic. Shame we didn’t have room for all the vegan gelato! ”
